Enagic's Certifications Explained

In my desire to do as much research on every aspect of these Ionizer machines, I have come to realize that there is an overwhelming amount of information to digest. When you do your research online, you will find a lot of confusion follows. My goal is to help you understand as much as you need to know in order to really see that Enagic is one incredible company with standards that will just astound you.

On this page I'll be digging deeper into the certificates that Enagic has obtained. A few other competitors have also obtained some of these prestigious certificates and it's only fair to give them credit. Honestly, my goal is not to toss an anvil on anyone's head. I'm not here to rant and rave, whine and moan. I'm simply so impressed with what I have found, I have decided to take the time, and believe me, I'm talking hours that turned into days and weeks of research over time, to prove to myself, that what I hear, is not just gossip, but the truth.

Let's consider each of Enagic's certificates one by one. Please click here if you want to take a look at each certificate and or download the pdf files.

IEEU Environment Award by International Earth Environment University for the year 2004. This particular certificate is worthy of viewing. While you read it, you will see just how much of a difference to our environment we could make if everyone owned and used these machines.

Certificate of Medical Device Marketing Authorization by Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, Government of Japan. License Number: 27B2X00070.

Certificate of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) Listed in US and Canada. This certificate is very important. It means that the device is in compliane with all electrical specifications. Since it uses 230 watts of power, it is important to have this UL certificate. Any device sold in the US should be in compliance with the UL.

I found one site representing another ionizer show a picture indicating that Enagic didn't have this certificate. You can download the pdf here: http://www.enagic.com/products/pdfs3/UL.pdf. I clicked on their link to the location where you can research the UL certificates of any company and found the certificate for Enagic listed there. It is easy to capture an image online that is misleading. I really don't want to hammer anyone here, so I've simply included the link to the certificate for a visual aid.

It was interesting that when I did a searcch on the top two competiters I could not find their UL certificates. However, I'm not going to say they don't have it. Sometimes sites do not update their systems for long periods of time. It may be that these top competitors do have the certificates, if so, the manufacture should display them on their site, especially if these devices are manufactured in another country.

"Certificate of ISO 9001:2000 (must be updated from 1994 to 2000) applies to all types of organizations. It doesn't matter what size they are or what they do. It can help both product andservice oriented organizations achieve standards of qualitythat are recognized and respected throughout the world." You can read more about this certificate here: http://www.praxiom.com/iso-9001.htm

Certificate of ISO 14001: 2004

"ISO 14001 2004 is an environmental management standard. It specifies a set of environmental management requirements for environmental management systems. The purpose of this standard is to help all types of organizations to protect the environment, to prevent pollution, and to improve their environmental performance." Certificate of FAD Food Facility Registration for Kangen Ukon. Registration Number: 18161996856

Althought I'm not a fan of the FDA, I do appreciate the FAD. The environment by which each device is developed should have this certificate. I believe the FAD is equivalant to the standards set by the FDA regarding the facilities where products are manufactored involving human consumption.

What about the certification of the competetors?

The Life Ionizer has a license KFDA No. 889 KFDA stands for Korea Food and Drug Administration. However, these machines are made in Japan. I have not found a certification from Japans Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare which is the equivilant of the FDA.

I could not find any certificates on the Tyent, but they said they are approved by the KFDA.

(Award from the Geriatric Disease Prevention Association)
Only ONE is handed out in any given category, and Enagic's Machine was the one chosen.
